Out of 900, what should a general candidate score to get a call for personality test for Group A posts?

  • Rushmita says:

First of all a big thumbs-up to the admin for such an elaborate and integrated info!
I have completed graduation with English hons (2012) and I’m a CBSE board student. So a little weak at Bengali writing.
What I wanna know is am I eligible to apply for Group-A posts? If not then for what post can I apply?

    • Hi Rushmita, Greetings from WBCSPortal. Yes you are eligible for WBCS and you can apply for all the four Groups (A, B, C & D). Being a non-bengali medium student you can opt English as your script in time of writing you papers in Main exam. Don’t get tensed due to your weakness in Bengali writing. It can be managed in a consistence practice as you’ve to write the compulsory language (Bengali/Hindi/Nepali) paper in Bengali/Hindi/Nepali. So you can opt Hindi/Nepali also instead of Bengali as your compulsory language paper (in Main exam). You’ve to prove just only one thing that you can write your name, address etc nominal information in Bengali script in time of Personality Test (if required so).

Feel free to contact us for further clarification. Our dedicated WBCS Expert team will be there to assist you throughout your preparation of this Statewide civil service exam. All the best.
